These Organizer Terms add to the Terms of Service when you create an activity or a business event on Connect In Real Life (CIRL).
1. Your role
You (or the organization you represent) are the organizer. CIRL supplies software. CIRL is not your co-host, insurer, or venue, and is not the seller of third-party tickets.
2. Authority
You confirm you have permission to represent the business named on a business profile and to use logos and venue names you upload.
3. Listings
Keep title, time, place, price, capacity, and online/offline status accurate. If the place is private, you need the right to invite people there. You handle permits, safety, accessibility you promise, and local rules.
4. Money
If you charge, you set price, tax, cancellation, and refunds. If you link to an external ticket seller, their terms apply to that purchase. CIRL does not currently collect ticket money.
5. Attendees
Treat attendee names, messages, and photos as other people’s data. Do not email or message them off-app for marketing unless you have a valid reason they would reasonably expect. Do not publish the attendee list.
6. Ending or changing a listing
If you cancel or move an event, tell participants in CIRL as soon as you can. CIRL may hide ended listings from Explore.
7. CIRL’s own events
If CIRL itself organizes an event, we will say so on that listing. These Organizer Terms then describe our duties for that listing, not a general disclaimer of our own conduct.
